Christian Eriksen is searching for a new team following Manchester United , but he will not locate it in his homeland of Denmark.
The player, who is 33 years old, joined the Red Devils in 2022 and departs following his participation in 107 matches, during which he scored eight goals.
It has been a pretty underwhelming spell at Old Trafford for the Dane, but he did pick up FA Cup And Caraboo Cup winner medals awarded under Erik ten Hag.
His contract comes to an end this month and the midfielder will be on the move, with his next destination unknown at this stage.
Nevertheless, he is aware of where it won’t be, following his association with a potential romantic comeback to the club he was part of during his teenage years, OB.

The former Inter Milan and Spurs star is not ready to move back to Denmark just yet, though, and has dismissed the link with OB.
‘I got it sent to me from someone who asked if I should return to OB,’ Eriksen told TV 2 Sport of the link to his former side. ‘My good agent has also been out and about saying that I shouldn’t.

‘It’s the football rumour mill. I hope no one has put money on it happening now, because then they’ll lose.’
Eriksen's agent, Martin Schoots, has also been quashing these rumors, stating to BT: "Christian remains ambitious and has plenty more to offer in a higher division."
'I can readily envision him performing at home in the future, but for now, he might just participate with the national squad.'
As Eriksen departs from Manchester United, his farewell message reads:
Eriksen posted on Instagram: "En enorm tak til alle fanne som har støttet meg de siste tre årene som en del av Manchester United."
'Thank you also to everyone at the club who has been kind and diligent; they have made both myself and my family feel incredibly welcome from day one. A huge thanks as well to my teammates—it's been an absolute joy sharing the locker room and the field with each of them!'
'It has been an extraordinary period, and I've created some unbelievable memories that I'll cherish forever.'
‘Thank you, Christian.’
Although the seasoned midfield player has no desire for a comeback to Denmark, he is eager to explore opportunities beyond England.
I prefer moving away from the Premier League," he told TV 2. "I believe I've had my chance in the Premier League, so now I'm exploring opportunities beyond England.

'It has been wonderful for me and my family, and we have stayed there for numerous years.'
‘When I moved from Tottenham to Inter, it wasn’t the plan for me to go back to England. I’ve been there for three and a half years again since then, so you can never say never, but the priority is for me to leave.’
There seems little rush for him to make a decision on what will be next, prioritising upcoming Denmark fixtures against Northern Ireland and Lithuania and then a family holiday.
'At present, there is absolutely nothing,' he stated. 'Interest exists from everywhere, but there isn’t anything that’s even near my signature.'
'My aim is to participate in international games and afterwards enjoy an excellent summer vacation. Afterward, we'll determine just how lengthy that break will last.'
