The sacred city of Mecca will experience an exact celestial event on Tuesday when the sun moves directly above the Sacred Kaaba.
As stated by the Noor Astronomy Group in the Qassim Area, this vertical sun phenomenon will occur at the time of the midday prayer call in Mecca around 12:18 PM, causing the total vanishing of the Kaaba’s shadow.
Issa Al-Ghafili, who leads Noor Astronomy, stated that this phenomenon takes place as the sun moves between the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer, according to reports from the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

At this instant of alignment, he continued, the direction of the Qibla is precisely reversed from where the shadows of mosque minarets, street lamps, and high-rise buildings fall.
