Devarjaye 'DJ' Daniel, who is 13 years old, gained international attention when Trump highlighted him during his State of the Union speech earlier this year and bestowed an honor upon him.
The young person has been fighting against cancer for six years since being diagnosed in 2018 with an uncommon type of terminal brain and spinal cord cancer. Initially, doctors gave him just five months to live.
His dad, Theodis Daniel, shared the devastating news with him. Fox7 Earlier this month, he stated: "There are three new tumors."
'It's rough, there isn't a class that can teach you how to deal with it. You're hearing that your child has a nasty disease.
'We're just going around showing people, hey, you do care for one another. Let's give compassion and let's try to join and help each other get through things.'
The young person has been attempting to join numerous police departments in an effort to bring attention to his situation alongside his family.


After Daniel was made an honorary member of several law enforcement agencies in Williamson County, Texas, his father spoke up.
The sheriff's office in the county was his 1,351st swearing in, with his journey leading him to be sworn in across six other countries.
Theodis commented: "Take a look at him; he’s so cheerful and full of energy. You can’t predict what will pop out from his lips. This often leaves me feeling anxious, as he tends to crack jokes."
Trump introduced Daniel saying, "Tonight, we have a young man in the gallery who has a genuine love for our police."
The physicians told him he had a maximum of five months left to live. This was over six years ago. From that point onward, DJ along with his father embarked on a journey to fulfill his aspiration.
Daniel was momentarily halted by his father during the emotional instance when he received his badge from Director Sean Curran, while people in the House gallery shouted 'DJ.'
The following day, Daniel along with his family were present in the Oval Office alongside Trump, where the young boy shared a warm embrace with the president.
"That was quite an eventful evening yesterday," Trump told them as he clasped Daniel's father's hand.

The ex-DOGE leader Elon Musk had also promised the boy his own Cybertruck after he was honored.
Speaking with CNN 's Kaitlan Collins outside of the White House after his appointment, Daniel revealed he had bumped into the Tesla CEO and X boss.
He said: 'I said, "can you do me a big favor, when you get back to Houston can you send us a Cybertruck down there".'
Collins then asks him: 'Did Elon Musk say he'd send you a Tesla Cybertruck?', to which the youngster responded: 'Mmmmhmm'.
Sharing the short exchange to her X, Musk later responded to the clip with a love heart emoji, suggesting the boy's wish for the vehicle could well be granted.
Earlier this month, the young individual was additionally sworn in as an honorary ICE and Border Patrol Agent by Deputy Director Madison Sheahan.
